The Best of My Daily Bentewee Looks

Here are the best of my daily Bentewee looks:

The classy daily look. I don't think I probably be seen wearing something so classy in daylight, but why not?

Although, I do not go to school anymore, I still love the uniform outfits. Reason being: because our uniforms back in the day, aren't as gorgeous as they are today.

The Slytherin ensemble because, well, I'm a Potterhead and I LOVE my house.

This is my typical daily look. Because on a normal day, I'm the type to wear something such as this -- paid top, leggings and sandals. Except, probably for the braids in the hair, because I can't braid.

The daily look of something I would want to wear, but doesn't really suit me. Tbh, it's kinda depressing that Chucks doesn't really go with me no matter how much I love them.

And the daily look of someone from a country with really hot weather. Though I don't think I would wear something like a crop top and a really high-waisted pants. Especially, short shorts.

Although, I have to add, that even though witches are popular because it's nearing Halloween, there are actual people who practice this religion/belief. Wicca is a religion/belief that involves paganism and the practice of witchcraft.

Wiccans or witches are mostly lovers of nature and respect all things that are natural. And they believe in the power of nature and of magic.

When I was younger, I had the opportunity to be a part of a coven. They are lovable people and are generally really kind. They thought me how to respect all things, and thank nature and others through rituals and the like.

The greatest lesson I learned being in a coven was that by our every actions, there will be equal or greater reactions or consequences that will follow. If you do good deed, good things will come to you, and so on.

The experience, over all, was an eye opener for me. It's one of those things you experience that you will never forget and cherish, as you grow older. I learned a lot of things, and I think, it kind of made me into a more respectful and understanding person, as a whole.

Unfortunately, there came a time when I felt that paganism is not exactly for me, so I had to leave find myself again after that.

RIP Senator Miriam

I've always looked up to Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago ever since I was a child. She's like my childhood hero (next to Batman). She the first Senator I voted when I first registered for voting when I turned 18. And I've been voting for her every since. I've always thought that if she run for president, I'm hands down voting for her. And she did, last election. She's the president I so wanted to win, but it never came true. Even so, I never regretted supporting and promoting for her.

She is one of the bravest, most intelligent and kind-hearted person you'll ever know. Especially in this god forsaken society we live in today, she's like one of those few fireflies left. It's really sad to hear the news of her passing, yesterday.

First Dresses at Bentewee

This is the first dress I bought at Bentewee. I love the combination of colors of this dress and that dining in the background.

And the second dress I saved ribbons to buy! ♥

I'm dark. I know. I couldn't figure out how I could change my skin color, so for now, I'll be dark.

There is a part of me that wished I could've transferred all my stuff from you-know-where, because I have tons of beautiful kimonos back there where I've collected throughout the years. But thinking about it, I don't mind starting from scratch again and slowly earn money to buy them again. It's part of the fun in it, I guess.

The SimSquad

Nickle, Beannie and I started creating blogs for our The Sims 4 progress. And we named our group, The SimSquad. The SimSquad because it sounds way millennial more than calling it a "Sim Circle" or some sort, that sounds so old school.

I call my newly created The Sims blog, Euri Sims. Because, I'm boring that way. I'll probably cross post here and there about my game progress and/or stuff that are funny and interesting, at least for me. Tumblr, because of peer pressure, and there are tons of Simmers in Tumblr.

Picasa Web Albums - Gone

So. Picasa Web Albums is finally gone. The old link to the old web albums now redirects to Google Album Archive, which is totally shitty. You can't do anything in it aside from viewing, downloading, and deleting albums. The old 'Link to this photo' feature that I love so much is now forever lost.

The only option to upload anything from there now is upload them in Google Photos, on which, UI-wise I don't really find appealing. The images are way too big and I hated the idea of the albums behaving like tags (or labels in Gmail). I hated the idea of everything in one place and you just tag them something to be able to group them into something. An album is an album and I want it to behave like a normal album. Because it's more organized that way.

But in the end, I can only complain, and nothing will ever happen, anyway. (>_<#)

So I decided to use my LJ icons here for every post because I have no use for them aside from LJ. I have a limit of 15 icons at LJ, but I have tons of icons in my hard drive not being used. So I thought I'd use them in here. Just for the heck of it.

Later, you'll find cute and interesting icons made by lovely artists at LJ that I've requested through the years. And also, some old icons I made (when I used to make them years ago.

Now that I think of it. I wonder where I've put all those icons I made for graphic download before. I remember I donated them to several icons and graphics sites, but few of them are left alive now, I believe.

I'll ask the artists first if I can use them here at blogger. I'll use ones that I have permission to use. I'll add the credit on the icon title and a link on the icon itself to whoever made it -- that is if their sites are still alive.

Ilvermorny House: Horned Serpent

So today, I got sorted to Horned Serpent house at Ilvermorny.

Ilvermorny is North America's version of Hogwarts.

As of now, there are not much details about the houses except:

• Horned Serpent – a ‘great horned river serpent with a jewel set into its forehead’
• Pukwudgie – ‘a short, grey-faced, large-eared creature’
• Thunderbird – a creature that ‘can create storms as it flies’
• Wampus – ‘a magical, panther-like creature that is fast, strong and almost impossible to kill’

Named by Isolt Sayre after the great horned river serpent that has a jewel set into its forehead; Horned Serpent house is sometimes considered to represent the mind of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Horned Serpent favours scholars.
