Sunday, June 10, 2007Ever since I started blogging a few years back, I've NEVER advertised/promote my sites to other people's site without consent. You know why?
BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING RUDE!
I've said this a thousand times. And I'll say it again and again until you people understand, that my blog and sites DOES NOT exist for you, rude people, to advertise/promote your own sites on. I was never fond of people advertising/promoting their sites in my blog. If you want to advertise your sites that badly, I have a plugboard where you can plug your sites! Plug there instead. If you wanted me to visit your sites, I always provide a field where you can leave your URL at. You don't need to rub it to me that you own a freaking site, and repeat it that I should visit your site in the comment box.
Today, I deleted quite a few comments like this and marked them as spam. The next time you spam here, I'm spamming at your sites or at worst case, I'll report you to your host as spammers.

ReplyDeleteMany bloggers out there, newbies in particular, comment [most of the time, irrelevant comments, and expect their comments to be returned.
Sometimes, because of advertising...people tend "forget" to read the sidebar. Kaya yun, if you're aforeigner living in a country full of newbie bloggers, you get comments in a language you don't understand. =(

ReplyDeleteI always comment at your blog. O_o Oh, yeah, I'm offline (messenger-wise). I am seldom online in messengers when I am at home. Because I hate being disturbed when I'm doing something. (E.g. reading, programming, making layouts. X-P)

I do, return visits. When people leave a comment here, I visit their sites. But I seldom return comments. I only comment if I have something relevant to say. Otherwise, I'll tag on the tagboard instead, if there are any.

Grabe I'm really very honored that not only you visit my site, you also advertise some of my "projects" (like the free domain registration and PHUC) to your friends and even here @ your blog. :)
That's one thing I hate about newbies, they tend not to read your entry and just proceed on posting irrelevant comments. Walang hiya talaga ang mga taong yan!

Spammers are the main reason I took my site down. And they're the bad kind... flood-spammers and the likes. One of my blog posts got 100+ comments, and 90% are spam saying the same thing and same links under different names and emails. XD

It IS pretty annoying when you see a totally off-topic comment on that entry you slaved for, only to see that the person who posted it wants to leech off your pagerank. Yeah.
