Moving

I'm so busy the past week doing this and that. I'll be moving out tonight.

I don't really have much things, to be honest. What you see in this pic are my entire stuff, aside from the huge stuff like the bed, mattress and side tables. That tower of boxes are shoes. Sandals and slippers are in paper bags. The others are accessories, toiletries and stuff.

I had my clothes sent to the laundry shop and picked them up the other day. I kept them as is and wore the clothes that were in my closet, instead, so I wouldn't have to re-pack them again. I thought of this idea from moving apartments too often.

That's it for now. I'll be making another (probably, longer) post at a later date.

bishounen.tumblr.com

Most of you probably know that I own the account bishounen at tumblr. I've had the account for years. I've been holding it for a few months and later thought that I should use it for a project I started that I named Bishounen Harem, where I post random pictures of good looking men from anime, manga, to real-life people such as celebrities of random handsome model image I found around the net.

Through the years I've had this domain, I've had several people messaging me asking me to give the name to them. I always thought that people should not leave their proper manners at home when they go out. Especially when that when you're asking someone, you just have to ask nicely. But apparently, there are more disrespectful and demanding kids than the are otherwise. I'm never picky nor I wanted them to beg for it. I just wanted a proper message or email with the words "please" and "thank you" in them at least, more than the words "give me this." I mean, I love this name and I've always thought that I would be very picky to whom I would give the name to, if I really did ended up giving it up for someone. And demanding me to give you the name just like that would never get you anywhere.

But then, one day, I got an email from someone who was asking the same thing. I've thought about it for a week, and decided to give out the name. And I suddenly thought that I should do it on my birthday instead so that it would be special.

A little while ago, I renamed Bishounen Harem and created a new blog with the name bishounen, and emailed Mako about it.

I left a short message for Mako as well:

I wonder what her reaction would be when she reads it. :3

Edit: I received a reply from her really fast. About less than 10 minutes, I think. She was ecstatic. And kept thanking me. It makes my heart filled with warm fuzzies~ ♥

Twenty-nine!

It's my 29th birthday today. I'm getting old, I know. BUT! I'm still in the calendar! XD

I would like to thank everyone who greeted me, gave me gifts and food!

I forgot to take a picture of the other foods aside from this McDonald's Happy Meal. I already ate them before I even remembered to take a picture. :P And I got a few more gifts last weekends from my family that I haven't taken a picture yet.

Speaking of which, I went out with my entire family, that composes of 6 people in total, yesterday night. We ate at Mesa, in celebration of my birthday. I didn't really appreciate the food all that much. Or more like, I thought that the taste didn't justify the price. I mean, I could find a restaurant with better tasting food for a cheaper price. I live in Pampanga, after all. It's a province with the best cooks and food in the country. But this is only my opinion though. My siblings, however, seemed to love the food. I even got a cake!

Continuing from before, look at these cuties!

These are Panda-san and Penguin-kun that I built from the paper craft pattern I found in the McDonald's Happy Meal box from the previous picture. Aren't they cute? ♥

On another story, an office-mate asked me earlier what I would do today. I answered, "Nothing in particular." He was really surprised about my answer. He told me, "You treat your birthday like any other day?" And I replied in confusion, "Yes?" He subtly told me not to treat my birthday as "just any other day," rather, I should do something special on it.

I don't know, I never thought there would be people who would actually find it weird that I treat my birthday as just any other day. Am I the only one who treats her birthday as just any other day?

3rd.

Our old sweat shop. Because today is my 3rd year in the company.

I lost all pictures from back when we were still in EV4 and this was the earliest I could find. I stole this from Gino.

Happy Birthday Mana-sama!

I'm a day late, because I forgot. But better late than never, right?

Happy Birthday to my inspiration, happy birthday Mana-sama!

Isn't he just beautiful? Yes. "HE." I'm so sick and tired of that same old comment. This is one of my favorite photos of him. ♥

I wonder how old he is.

Sleep

|

I'm like this, sometimes (except the League of Legends part). Especially when I can't figure something out in something that I'm working on at work. I even dream about the algorithm. Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night just because I thought of how to properly work it out in my dreams and I force myself to wake up to get it done.

Forgive the Messy Layout.

I'm trying to change my layout. I got tired of the old Aspire layout. I haven't decided which layout I would really want for this blog yet. So expect it to change often within a couple of days. Or weeks, perhaps. :P

Oh, and Happy St. Patick's Day to you all! (Even though we do not celebrate St. Patrick's Day in my country.) But actually, I just had to blog to have an excuse to use this cute siggie I got from dear Lorelei. :P

Let It Rain

"Did you know? Whenever it rains, the sky is crying. As if it washes all our pains away."

Let it Rain is the title of my unfinished collection of fictional short stories. All of them revolves around a person's death. Sometimes, its about the person itself, and sometimes, those who were left behind.

I stopped writing after a few chapters, though. I lost one finished chapter that I never got around publishing, and another half-done, when my hard drive broke years ago and I lost interest got lazy in rewriting it.

I just remembered about it out of the blue. The thought of continuing it passed my mind. However, I decided not to pursue the thought because the outcome might turn out too forced.

Who knows, maybe someday I'll get my muse back and write again.

If I managed to finish it somehow, I'll have it published as a book.

Project Free Medical Clinic at Barangay Balite, Rodriguez, Rizal

Helping out at spreading the word! :D

Facebook event page here.

The Philippine Atheists and Agnostics Society, Inc. (PATAS, Inc.) will be having its second free medical clinic at Barangay Balite, Rodriguez, Rizal on the 22nd of March, 2014. The barangay is home to approximately 10,000-15,000 residents: 6,000 voting residents and approximately 4,000 children and 3,000 women. These figures are just approximation of the Barangay Captain Ronnil Hernandez. There is a rural health unit near the barangay. However, according to Barangay Captain Ronnil Hernandez, there is always a shortage of stocks of medications and that they're mostly in need of cough and cold medications, multivitamins, and antibiotics for adults.

For the month of March, we will also be doing free ECG for our patients in the barangay, courtesy of Metro Pharma Philippines, Inc. (MPPI).

The activity will start at around 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

I’m posting this also to encourage volunteers to help out in this medical clinic, as part of our humanism projects of the organization. If you are interested to volunteer, please send a message to Tess Termulo, PATAS-President. Please also let me know if you are someone who has training in healthcare.

I would also like to ask for help, in terms of donations, be it in kind or monetary, to support our funds for the medications in this project. With a large population of the barangay, for sure, all medications given will be greatly appreciated. If enough funding will be gained, then we can do this on a more regular basis, which is better, since the patients in the baranggay will be given follow-up care.

Thank you very much and I hope everyone interested will be able to participate.

Easter Baskets

I've recently joined the Easter Baskets. It's an LJ community of gift giving to friends or random people who also joined the same community.

I'm actually new to this gift giving basket thing so I'm not so sure about how to describe it, but the idea is that you get to have a specific post in the community, "basket," where your friends or random people can leave you gifts. These gifts can be anything from graphics, videos, songs, poetry, etc. as long as they are not money. Initially, these gifts will be screen so you can see them. When Easter arrives, they will unscreen them and you will be able to see all your gifts.

I thought it was fun so I joined in! I'm pretty excited about it. I'm more excited about what to give people. I've always love giving random gifts to people because their reactions make me happy. I'll think of something to give everyone in the !2014 basket list.

If you're on LJ, please consider joining! I'll be fun!

Oh, and here is my Easter Basket in case you wanted to send me something. :3

Happy Women's Day!

It's International Women's Day, today. It's not like I actually have anything to say about Women's Day. I just thought I would post this cute adoption I got from Jenny's Grandchild a few years back.

 Adopted from Jenny's Grandchild

On to my real update: yes, my website isn't up yet. No feedback yet, so far. I've emailed some of my affiliates that I interact with often, earlier about my site's situation and I hope they wont remove me from their affiliates list. I've already done the same to the cyberstamp makers/creators that I have active collections to the previous days.

That aside, I've been happily updating my batcave, if you care to visit.  I bought myself paid memberships from Little Honeymoon. I got myself membership from the Members Area which gives me access to the pixel tubes, line arts, etc. and an Exclusive-ish Club membership. I splurged, I know.

It'll be my birthday soon, it'll be my birthday gift to myself.

You don't have to credit me when you use them, but if you want to, please link back to me at: http://www.beyondeternal.comHere are my buttons, if you need them.

See the rest of the stickers after the cut!
